Usually i run the game at around 40 fps, but sometimes the game drops to ~20 fps and stays that way, even more, it's not skipping those frames, but actually runs at half speed, running and moving is.

FPS Lags when glass brakes. Hi everyone! I was playing Mirrors edge until whenever a guard or myself broke glass my FPS Dropped a huge amout which makes the game unplayble! (because of the lag) Dose anyone know how to fix this? Go into Options then Video and uncheck Phyx. It worked for me.

I also had this problem and solved it by deleting some files from the game folder. Took these steps from a steam forum post: Delete or rename the physxcore.dll, and physxdevice.dll from the steam\steamapps\common\mirrors edge\binaries folder. Also delete the physxlocal directory inside that same binaries folder.
